Oh man! Convention season is fiiiinally slowing down for just a bit. My next confirmed convention isn't until November, although it seems likely that I can hit TsubasaCon for October. Even so, that means I actually have some time to get back into art stuffs O_O

First on my list is knocking off all of the "current projects." Seriously D: And when they're all done, I'm going to feel SO AWESOME *_*;

Second on my list... Well, I guess I'm not sure. Whatever I feel like after that, I suppose XD;

So... I'm still way behind on, well. Life. Everything XD; And unfortunately, it's gonna be that way for another month-ish.

I leave tomorrow morning for Disney World for two weeks (which is yay XD) but that means I won't be here at all, really. I'll probably be online for a few minutes a day just to check messages from my brother's laptop, but he doesn't let me do much, and, well, I can't draw on it or anything XD; But I'm gonna try and work on stuff in the hotel rooms and... hopefully finish chapter 3 of "Actions Speak Louder" o_o;;;;;;;;

After I come back, it's gonna be REEEEEAL close to Otakon, and I'm trying to fix up Silabus, make a Death Grunty, and completely make Roxas and Mikoto >////>

WHY AM I RETARDED? I know I shouldn't try to do so much, but hopefully I can get it all done, because then I'll be happy yay! ;;

But so, because of all that, I'm gonna be majorly absent for another month-ish DDD: I'm so sorry >_<

I'll update the journal again when I have time to be active, and I'll try to at least get a few deviations in here and there ^_^;;

Okay, so... I'm waaaaay behind on comments, viewing others' deviations, updating, and just about everything.

This is old news to some people here, but others may not know.

On May 3rd, one week before ACen and almost one month ago, my dad suddenly passed away. Needless to say, it was quite a tough week, and even after, it's still tough. It was both extremely hard to keep working towards ACen, knowing I HAD worked to hard to just throw it all away, even in such circumstances, just like my little sister went on with her ice show (in which she had her first solo) the night after it happened, but at the same time it helped me just having something to occupy my mind with, something to detract from the pain. Nevertheless, we had to keep going on with our lives despite what happened, and now and forever, we still have to.

Well, as far as ACen went, I *did* finish my Silabus costume (on Saturday of the convention... >_> but of course, I had lost my hair-curl tail on Thursday somehow T_T Also, I made the wonderflex too small and it ripped up my knees and I screwed up the pants because I'm stupid and the gloves came out retarded and etc etc etc, so I have things to remake before I can take pictures and post it here ;_; But, I hope to have all that redone and ready for Otakon.

I want to thank everyone who stopped by my table at ACen, Tekko, and Anime Punch! All of your support is soooooo majorly appreciated ;o; I'm just so sorry that I'm so inadequate when it comes to talking to people in person ;-; I tried to get better by ACen, but it just didn't work too well ^-^;; I'll keep trying though, I promise! D:

I didn't make it to AN. With all that happened, there was no way I could handle it, plus I wasn't able to afford it. I was really sad, because I so wanted to go and have fun and meet a few of you ;-; AND I wouldn't have been tied down to an AA table, so it would have been REALLY fun, but... I'm getting myself to Otakon this year to try to make up for that. Also, I won't be in AA there

After ACen, I had planned to hide away for about a week and just play some //G.U. and not think about ANYTHING, to just relax and clear my mind a bit. //G.U. was lovely, but my mind wasn't so much cleared, and then my computer decided to explode again, so just when I was feeling like I wanted to start drawing again, my medium was taken away, as was the majority of my connection to the online world. Since then, I'd only been using my brother's laptop sparingly, when he'd allow it, which wasn't very often or for very long ;-; (But I do thank him for letting me use it at all ) And, in the past couple of days, I realized I could even use the Wii XD But that didn't work TOO well XD;;

Right now, I am sitting at a brand shiny new computer *_* My mommy wanted to get a new one for her and my little sister, but I talked her into letting me have the new one, since I need it for art and my embroidery machine and lots and lots of things, whereas she wants something simple for just internets and such. So, she agreed :' I just need to put a little into the old computer to get it running okayish, and that's it. Not a bad deal at all...

So, that's where I am now. I'm going to try to respond to as many of these backed up comments as I can, but that's probably as far as I'll get to catching up. I'll just have to start from here ^_^;; I'm sorry DDDD:

Thank you so much everyone for bearing with me, and kudos to anyone who read through this whole thing lol (It's quite long, isn't it? XD;; ) I hope I've said everything I wanted to O_O;

Back and yet not~ Anime Punch was mostly uneventful, but it was a good week nonetheless. Actually, both ~kalajessta and I were surprisingly productive, and productivity always makes me happy. XD

I've got a WHOLE ton of stuff to do by Tekkoshocon next weekend, most of which was completely brought upon by myself. So... I decided I'm trying to pull a Peony (from Tales of the Abyss) cosplay within a week. I must be crazy.

But I've got like, all the fabric and everything and I'm exhausted, but I don't care. I'm gonna get it done somehow! >D;; As the rest of the entry still stands, I leave the bottom in tact ;;

I'm also trying VERY HARD to get to Anime North this year, which is like... two weeks after Anime Central XD If I do go, I won't be in the Artist Alley, but that means I shall be free to run about the con and just enjoy it... something I don't really ever get to do anymore

Hmm, so I went ahead and did minor spring cleaning of my gallery~ I moved... about 15 things to the scrap section. A couple other things I left simply because... they were like, minor characters and stuff. And they need more love. XD

I'm hoping that once spring really finally hits that I can get back on track with things. I'm happy that I've been pretty consistent with uploading things, even if I haven't gotten to the things I need to yet, but it's one of those "I might as well draw some of what I want to right now, because otherwise I'll just end up doing nothing at all" :<

I blame a lot of that on the weather, too... Like, the past couple of days were SO NICE and OH MAN-- I worked on my Silabus costume and what I've done is looking so nice ;o;

And then today was cold again. And I sat under a blankie all day, feeling disturbingly lethargic. >_>

I blame another part on the fact that I lost my pencil and eraser. That sounds like a rather lame excuse, but... I only have the one pencil and one eraser that I will use for drawing, since... other ones suck. I'm so picky. XD During this time, I'm happy to have gotten a bit more familiar with my tablet though, so that's good :< I think it is starting to take not as long to do things as it used to...

And my Valentine's picture was a bit of an experiment to see if I could ditch the pencil/paper althogether and go completely digital, but... eh... I think for my "proper" deviations, which I hope to do for all of these gift pics, it looks more... finalized and... generally nicer to be drawn out, inked, and then scanned and colored...

And now, like usual, I'm rambling too much. But that's my, er, update of sorts. ;;
